About
Paul Micallef is a Midlands based session drummer offering a remote drum recording service directly from his recording studio in Northampton UK.
As a seasoned music professional, his knowledge and experience, over a 30+ year period, has helped provide him with the ability to deliver professional drum parts from professional equipment that will help to change and enhance the way you make music.
Paul’s personal taste is incredibly diverse, with strong influences coming from Funk, Rock and Blues.
As a result, Paul’s remote drum recording service provides the very same diversity and precision but tailored to fit directly into your music, regardless of genre.
Experience: “I have played the drums from an early age, and I have been in bands since I was a teenager. Over my 30 plus years playing I have played many different genres form Rock, Blues, Pop, Funk, Soul, Motown, Disco, Reggae and Ska. There is nothing I enjoy more than laying down awesome beats for your band or recording session. I have professional equipment and will provide a professional service. I love being behind the kit, or playing percussion, in the studio and live. I am currently in my third year of a music Production Degree at The University of Northampton and play drums for an award-winning function band called Ministry of Soul”.

How it works
Step 1 – THE QUOTE
Get in contact and tell me about your project, guide tracks that you’d like me to record to, any notes or reference you have – basically as much information as you can!
Step 2 – THE PROPOSAL
I will take all of the information and send you a proposal of the services I can offer you, including the price. I will also detail what I need from you.
Step 3 – BOOK
I will ask you to pay a deposit, which will then allow you to secure a recording day in my calendar.
Step 4 – RECORDING DAY!
I will record my drums for your project on the scheduled date and send you the first take as an mp3 bounce with your guide track.
